COVID-19 update to services

As COVID-19 continues to have an impact around the world, I wanted to assure you of the precautionary measures I am taking to protect the health and wellbeing of all.

I am making extra effort to keep the therapy room clean and sanitised and can provide handwashing facilities at your request.

Until advised otherwise, I am happy to see people face to face on the basis of adhering to the NHS’s guidelines: If you have been to an affected place in the last 14 days OR had contact with somebody with Coronavirus OR had contact with somebody who has been to an affected place within the last 14 days AND you have a cough, fever, shortness of breath then to protect yourself and us please call NHS 111 for expert advice.

Whilst I deeply value the traditional therapeutic set up, I would like offer you some alternatives whilst we work together to do our bit to stop the spread of this virus.

From today I am happy to discuss options such as telephone or SKYPE appointments or a ‘Walk & Talk therapy’ out in the beautiful countryside of Duffield.

Like many of you, I expect to be hit financially during this period, I am a very small business, please let me know if you wish to take a break from therapy or need to cancel a session within the time frame outlined in the initial contract. Thank you.

I will continue to review guidance and will endeavour to keep you informed of any changes to the above as soon as possible.

I understand that the current health environment is concerning for many and I offer my empathy and support to all those who have been affected,

Wishing you good health and wellbeing,
