Clinical Placement Opportunities for Trainee Counsellors and Psychotherapists

I am pleased to offer supportive clinical placements for trainees on accredited counselling and psychotherapy training routes. placements are based at 1 Park Lane, Allestree, Derby, within an established, well-held clinical environment where you can begin to put your training into practice with real confidence.

What the placement offers

The placement is designed to give you meaningful, hands-on experience of working with clients across a range of presenting issues and lengths of work. You will be supported throughout, with supervision built in as a core part of the arrangement.

• ·Face-to-face, online and telephone experience
• ·Course-approved and adaptable to your training requirements
• ·A safe, confidential and well-established clinical setting

Group supervision included

Group supervision is offered as part of the placement. This gives you a reflective, peer-learning space where you can bring your client work, think through ethical questions, and develop your practice safely alongside other trainees.

• ·Small groups of 2–4 trainees
• ·Grounded in the BACP Ethical Framework
• ·Support with course paperwork and reports
